The only thing that I think might help is reverting your computer to a previous day but that would delete all files that were installed after said day. You most likely can't even do that because that is like pretty much reversing your computer to store bought new. Check on an actual professional forums like [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] because they will know a lot more about the os then I do. Sorry I couldn't help.

lol wow how about you go to the control panel and configure your mic!! that should tell you is its broken or your computer just wasnt config. it correcty
and try uninstalling the drivers and letting vista find them for you!
