UnknownModder wrote He is saying you can take an ISO modded game file that should be on a disc and you can put it on a USB stick to run it like a Game on Demand, but you can't because it is unsigned code which requires a JTag to run. You sir are incorrect.

Or shall you prove me wrong?

-UnknownModder

Well sir you are wrong if a jtag is needed, how do you iso mod on retail

And it would only work with transfer cable Youd have to create the right foder to put everydata in then oit would work

Because the drive is flashed... or because Microsoft fails...

You can't people, that simple.

The main reason this will not work is because the reason you have to hotswap is so that the xbox thinks that it is installing the real game but instead it is installing modded files.(Unsigned code)

This means when you hotswap the xbox thinks the WaW disc is still in place and just installs it off the burnt disc.

Now if you were to put the game on a USB and try to run modded/unsigned code then the xbox would detect that and would not allow you to run it.

Hopefully this will clear up this thread.

It reads the game as a regular game so why wouldnt it work.

read my first reply on this thread.. it only reads an iso as signed because you spin the retail disc first then hotswap.. you CANNOT swap to a usb. end of story

eSTrickShotz wrote I found out a new way to get waw modded games on a usb.For example, if someone has a 8GB usb and they have a iso disk and they install it to there usb, then they take the usb and put it in there computer and pull up usb xtaf explorer and xtract the game to the desktop, then they post it on like megaupload or mediafire, then they could post the link somewhere to let others download it, then you get your 8GB usb(you have to have one)install it to your usb and the you can host lobbys and not boring old gamesaves. If you think this works, post legit or thank the topic and on the top put if you think this should be a sticky.

I had a similar idea a few days ago i didnt look into but the way i was thinkin was to copy the installed game to the usb and sell it that way instead of selling an iso since thats illegal but my way probably dont even work anyway...but good find
