Either way, they won't pay you straight minimum wage, but they also won't be paying you all that much.

Why wouldn't he get paid minimum wage?
The only jobs I know of that don't receive minimum are waiters/waitresses and hosts.

I was speaking from past experience.

I'm 19, and I've had about 3 jobs, neither of those 3 ever payed minimum. I worked at King Soopers, Domino's, and Taco Bell.

So, It's safe to assume that he wouldn't be making minimum either.

However, every state is different, and maybe Colorado just loves me.

You would get $7.25

I doubt you would get many hours.

But, at the interview stay calm. Be completely honest, they would prefer you to be you. Try to make them laugh, but dont make it obvious your trying. Be nice and relaxed and good luck to you! Be good to have some working experience, will help you get a better job in the future.

I've had 2 jobs, both have paid minimum wage. But then again, I live in the UK. Employers are tight with there money.
