The future of gaming looks much better.
Although it is slowly loosing its roots(simple fun to play side scrollers with no real objectives,) it is getting better overall. Gaming is now considered a sport(MLG) a fun activity for friends and family, and just a good way to relax and enjoy things. With new advancements in gaming people are slowly getting closer to being in the game. The Wii was the first console to allow the player to control their characters actions through their own actions(and the Wii is often used for physical therapy) And all gaming companies are working on making gaming technology more advanced. 8)

I think it will be good and bad. Good because the new technology will be unreal the graphics will be life like, and bad because they will soon only focus on Multiplayer and greed will over ride them and they will not listen to their fans

Yes and No, Yes because, the technology is increasing rapidly, gamea are starting to look more and more realistic year after year. Before we know it it will be near impossible to tell the difference between real people and video game characters. But No because, also if we really look into it, look at all of the most hyped up games coming out, they are mostly all sequals. I want a new original game to come out, something noone has ever seen before, I don't really want to play somthing like Modern Warfare 3, where it is going to be almsot the same as everything else, I would rather play a game like Dead Island, where it is a whole new idea of gaming, Open World Zombies, something noone has seen before on a concle, which makes it original and more people, like myself, want more original games.

The future of gaming looks very good! Companies now, are starting to listen to what the fans like and what the fans want. They are also using better software to make the graphics look better. Overall they are getting better every year.

Really I think its 50/50, Call Of duty is getting old as BOPS proved and some games are wearing out now but some games are coming through like battlefield. There are so many more advances to come in the gaming world you don't know whats around the corner!
