Lets see COD, BF, GOW and Halo are all series that have been out forever.
Everygame the graphics become better but we see the same crap every year. Same crap every year = down even tho mw2 & cod4 are the best call of duties imo.

Imo a new shooting series needs to come out that will be just as good as the above = go up

Of course its not going to be perfect but gaming for some kids is the only true way to express themselves and the amount gamers world wide can only get better so whats so bad?

Right now in my opinion gaming isn't heading anywhere.
I don't think it will die i just think that companies think they can just pump out almost the same thing each year which is what is happening with the COD games. I don't mind COD but it doesn't tend to differ much from the last game.

On the other hand when LA Noire was released it was completely different, it was new and felt fresh, it had never really been done before.

All that needs to happen is companies need to take more time with their games and make sure that it isn't almost identical to their last game. They have new things to work with now such as kinect so maybe they should think about trying to integrate that into a few more games.

yes i think it looks good for some of the games as they keep getting better with new things added or better graphics. but then are some series that are bad already and they keep adding more even though their unsuccesfull . too be honest i dont how its going to turn out but i personally hope it turns out well

Here is why

Many of these new Gaming Engines coming out (FrostBite 2, ETC) Have Major Graphic Upgrades. Just an example. in BadCompany they Introduced FrostBite. Many people Enjoyed this engine. You could Destroy everything and when you would you would see the Dust and Debree everywhere. Also many of the games coming out in The FPS Genra are Serious and contain a Plot that has Story Twists. Like Alice. It had some twists and Turns. If games continue to Gain better Graphics and Better Plot lines. The future of gaming will have many benefits. More income, better sails, More players.

kinect is fun and just about every new game looks great so i think it will be great
