some websites make the ipod freeeze primarly joke websites such as my lazy sundays dont go on it

I have heard of Jailbroken Ipod touches getting viruses, but a shuffle ? O.o

Ask your friend if he ever had this problem it might just be your computer

back up your files if ya can
and restore it
or go on setting, gneral, then reset ya ipod

Just wipe everything off it and / or restore to factory settings

i have heard the same issue before. there is actually 3 known viruses for apple hand helds... ani bet you got one of them. all you have to do is just reset everything. and start over. tell your buddy to check his computer for the virus. because if you go to get all the stuff put back on it, it will just contract the virus right back...
