Chunkuh wrote Hurricanes won't move the tectonic plates, just the convection of magma underneath the Earth's surface.

Graphix- wrote Hurricans cannot shift the tectonic plates.. a hurrican is to do with high and low pressure in the air colliding and swurling. Tectonic plates are thousands of miles below the sea. I think you just got. SLAPPED.
You never know it could have

There is no way on earth that a hurrican could of shifted the tectonic plates. if it did then the hurrican would of had to ripped up tons and tons of dirt in the ground. Thousands of tons of water ect. to ever get CLOSE the to plates.

Thousands of miles below the earths crust is magma, earthquakes can be at the surface or further down, also you said about about the hurricane had to 'rip up tonnes and tonnes' of dirt, no they don't. the earth that you are talking about is the tectonic plates. Lastly this theory may be true, if a plate is on the brink of shifting any extra force could potentioaly cause the plates to slip...
