Information about me.
- I've been working with Adobe since the first installment. Over 6 years and counting.
- I work as a web design artist making websites and media edits. IE: Photos and Videos.
- My work isn't a non professional status. I don't add a flashing text and say I'm done.
- Please read more about what I do below.
Most so called "photoshop artists" on here have absolutely no idea what quality is. Mostly every avatar, banner, signature, etc is just a picture with some text changing colors or tweening to a new spot.
THAT IS NOT PHOTOSHOP!
When I devote my time to making something, it's not going to be a 5 minute piece of crap. I actually go into detail, hard edit photos with all the power I can. I literally spike up everything in the picture until it is 100% perfect.
I'm also a very tough critic. Here's a criticism I posted on the Photoshop board.
FAQ:
- So you don't do animations?
- I never said that. Look at my work below. I do infact add animation if it's what you wish, but the fact is I hardedit the animation and the entire picture. I don't do a Windows > Animation type deal, I use Adobe ImageReady which is from the Photoshop CD upon purchase.
- What do you mean by hard-edit?
- Hard edits meaning I go through and scale the picture to 100x the actual size, and run through it looking for distortions to fix, problems to fix, etc.
- Is this free?
- Of course.

Do you want any animation on it? If so, what? - None unless you think it looks ok

To me the "work" you posted has NOTHING to do with the very long description.
You took an MW2 BG, and put some text, and then some flashing/ moving text.
Then the avatars are just a picture with some text on them.
Looks like a "copy n paste" if you ask me.

Ehm, I'm going to ignore the flaming sense there, but right now you're in the wrong; both behavior and knowledge.
The provided banner is what the patron wanted, it is what I delivered. If you had any sensible knowledge for Adobe whatsoever, you would be able to see the detail put into the work. It's not just a picture slapped with some text. Do you understand Adobe whatsoever? It's a hardedit.
First off, the images mode isn't the crappy 8 bit you see. Do you understand different channels of depth whatsoever? It's called Truecolor. look into it.
Second off, the image is cleaned, re-done, and formatted to fit a professional layout size for an advertisement banner.
Third, can you honestly not notice detail put in to every single frame of that picture? There is not one single thing added that wasn't tweaked, edited, or re-done.
I don't believe you understand what hard-editing is. Hell, have you even ever worked with anything besides Photoshop? IE: ImageReady, which is what I use for animations. I'm guessing you use the animations pallet.
There's not one single thing posted here that's just a picture with some text. I go through and in depth edit them, pal.

Alright, well you may know a lot about photoshop. But all I'm saying is that the work you posted, does not reflect the description from the text. Maybe you should post some of your best work?
