*your warranty voids *EDIT* Warrantys no longer are voided. : There are ways around this
*Unable to update Ipod/Iphone. : Wrong, you can update and re-jailbreak
Lags your device. : If you install a ton of unneccesary crap, yes. But not if you know what you are doing
Freezes your ipod/iphone to where its not repairable. (by this i mean you have to restore it) : Dont use conflicting addons
Crashes alot : ^^

Hold up bro, is your ipod an 8 gig????? if it is of course you will run out of memory, and second the more sh*t you have on the ipod of course it will slow it down. the freezing is from too much on it. i have a 32g 3g Ipod Touch. and i have never had any problems except saafe mode. and you caan still use the jailbreak. so IDK what you are trying to do? but there isnt anything wrong with jailbreaking. It actually brings out the full potential of the idevice nub!

There are pro's and con's to everything you do in life. You just have to work out what they are, and decide whether it's worth the risk or not.
