So what you guys are telling me is that noone elses jailbroken ipod has ever: lagged, frozen, or crashed?

You Can update it just Un-Jailbreaks your phone.
So Updating is a Way of un jailbreaking without having to restore.

damn i have a ipod 4 gen on 4.2.1 tooo.... it has froze but all you have to do is hold the home button and power button.... just restats it.... nothing big... mine doesnt lag .... i have 32gb ... you probably went jewish and have only 8 gb.... and i have no major problems with it so looks like your itouch sucks and chill with the p0rno

Well I jailbroke mine about a year ago and mine has been fine. I have never ran out of memory, it has never crashed, it does lag, but only for a few seconds and it has never frozen, let alone freeze until it needs restoring. And my warranty was already out before I jailbroke it.
And im pretty sure you can update it, but if you want too update and then re-jailbreak you have to wait until the update is available, and it doesn't really take long for new ones to come out.

My friend accidently updated his ipod. Yet i have no clue hooow. :facepalm:
