Okay Please read threw this:

My internet went down about 2 weeks ago, Ive brought my Xbox to my friends used his internet to play Xboxlive, Until my internet was back up. When are internet got turned on again I went to play xboxLive and when I was at the Dashboard. It said I can't view anything but My Xbox and My friends. Soo I couldn't access the Xbox MarketPlace or Watch Netflix. I made a post asking TTG for help someone told me to clear my System cache, After I did that I still had the Dashboard problem. I decided to go play Mw2. When I put the game in it ask me to update it when I click yes it says there was a problem trying to download the update, It tells me to Test my XboxLive connection I did and everything was successful. But I still cant update any games Soo I can't play anything or Do anything! I'm really pissed off now! Please post below if you have any info that you think would help me Thank-You for all the Feedback!

I have had this exact problem in my lifetime, its solely a connection problem so im guessing you have a very strict nat type. That or its moderate and you have shared i.p's or just a low NTPU setting as the minimum value is like 1400 or something. Go look it up on google the error codes. Helps dramatically.

On the other hand it might be your wireless all together, i was smart and went into a shop and asked for the best wireless HUB for xbox gaming and the guy got me one of the shelf from netgear and it had the xbox symbol on the back saying compatible.

Can you paste any error codes you get please, would help me muchly And you more

While you do this check your router homepage providing you have your router username and password and the i.p address to navigate to the login page and just check you have UPNP enabled ! Also if you can make sure your channel is set to auto as this fixes a few problems.
