You can't be 100% on that, they may have a special system that checks for time stamps aswell.

Well I thought there would be alot more security to it. But who cares.

So is the Veteran Gear Achievement the only problem from playing the game early that you know of?

If you want the veteran gear golden skin, there will be a title update just before the game comes out, so make sure you get a title update when you put the game in
