I put my game disc into the tray and it goes to closing(when I close it) and then it tries to read it for a second and then it goes to open tray and it does that on every disc! What is going on?

turn your xbox off and on and if that doesnt work its ahardware fault

And yes it's something to do with the laser,

I have done that plenty of times. One time it went into e64 trying to power up! I restarted it and it works but it wont read my disc

Its something to do with the laser in your disc tray. try taking your xbox apart and cleaning the laser

Its a fault i had it my xbox is away getting fixed
