It's Battlefield what do you expect , there is camping on all FPS now days ;)

lol camping has always been a style in Battlefield

People were just to ignorant to go out and buy BFBC2 to actually see it for them selfs.

The camping isn't half bad compared to the COD series.

I'm not hating on COD its just every time you turn around there is someone hiding in the corner.

I didn't have a problem with campers, you could probably just jump in a Jeep or Tank with a friend and go to the objective.

The BF series has intense campers, every time I get killed by someone in the beta they are either in a bush laying down or in a corner.

Camping in Battlefield was rarely an issue besides for snipers because that's the whole point of sniping but now that they introduced prone to the game, It's almost as if everyone who plays Battlefield wants to be a snake. All they do is camp lying down and it's really starting to annoy me.

This might sound ridiculous but, I think they should've only allowed prone for snipers. It's not to often you will see someone with an automatic weapon lying down waiting for someone to come to you.

i can tell most likely that you are a cod player more than a battlefield player, ive played bad company 1, 2 and the 1942 xbla game and tbh camping is the style of battlefield, on cod you can run around with a sniper and "quickscope", i would love to see people try that in battlefield is merely impossible, and that my son is why battlefield is more realistic than cod because in a real war you dont have recon running around, they are held up in buildings and bushes, giving the other soldiers support to move up on the objective.

yeah but look at cod, yu can go prone on that game but hardly anyone does. Its becasue battlfield 3 is the first game of series to go prone and so people are like "oo im going to prone just because i can" give it a few weeks, months and itll hardly be used. well i may be right may be not aha

I'm not a cod play buddy, I play Gears of War. COD and Battlefield have their fair share of campers but judging by this beta for Battlefield the camping is astounding, the ability to camp in grass for the whole duration of the game just to get a few kills is just horrible.
