Crysis 2, in general stunned me. This game incorporated many features of multiple other games, but unlike games that do so, Crysis 2 also adds it's own twist into it.

Story = 10/10

The story in my opinion is amazing. The campaign it's self took me over 2 weeks to complete, a much longer campaign then any other FPS out there. There are multiple plot twists that will keep you on you're seat wondering what's next. One of the most unique things about the story is that you can tackle any mission any way you WANT. Want to go Rambo with Armour? So be it. Want to go stealth? So be it. Or just want to hop in that tank and cause some hell, then so be it.

Graphics = 10/10
The graphics in this game are just simply amazing. You'll be blown away by the amount of detail, and there is little to none frame rate drop.

Game play = 10/10
The game play of this game is pretty sweet. In the campaign there is always variety. But instead of the game dropping you into one choice you can only make, there is multiple paths you can take to complete a task/goal. Lets say you have to retrieve a item from a building, you can go stealth so it's easier, or just go in guns blazing. There is lots of variety, and there is even a vizor which helps you locate the different ways to complete a task (flank, stealth, etc)

Sound = 9/10
The sound in this game is pretty good, there is a few leggy sound effects. There is some epic sound pieces for when something awesome is about to happen, and it just makes you feel like you're in the moment.

Multiplayer = 9/10
The multiplayer in this game is just freaking amazing. There is the normal CTF,Crash site,TDM,etc. However there is a new strategy to this game's online multiplayer, suit abilities. You can stealth or armor online. You must learn to conserve you're energy which adds a new aspect to the online game play. The online game play is pretty solid except for when you have a bad connection, the matches will have way too much lag.

Overall: 9/10
Overall, this is one of the best FPS games I have played. I was never able to play the first Crysis due to not having a PC. This game also has one of the best and most interesting campaigns to date. The online play will always make you want to come back for more. Although, this game has it's problems, what game doesn't?

Pros:
Epic campaign that draws you in
Online gameplay is solid and strategic
Graphics are top-notch

Cons:
Online matches can suck if you have a bad connection
Scar is a bit over-used (needs to be nerfed)
No co-op for campaign

Fifa 12 Demo Review

Game Details

Release Date: 30-Sep-2011
Developed By: EA
Genre: Sport
Platform: All
Age Restrictions: 3+
Players: 1-4 & 22

Right, hey TTG. Lewis here. Today i am reviewing the EA's newest football game Fifa 12, the game will currently cost 45 pounds (Ultimate condition) or $70. Now my first thoughts on the game was quite un settling, i felt the game was a older Fifa instead of a new standard of sport gaming. The game paces were not even different for example; slow was the same as medium and medium was the same as fast. Now i plugged in my other controller and invited a mate round, that was a bit more exciting the game pace wasn't slow and boring. We were both competitive so we were playing that bit harder to try and win!

Ultimate Team

Now, previous Fifa's like 10 & 11 had a feature called Ultimate team where you can play matches, earn money and buy players and try for the best team. I can now confirm that ultimate team is featured in Fifa 12. What is FIFA Ultimate Team? EA SPORTS FIFA 12 Ultimate Team is a massive online community of fans building, managing and competing with their ultimate football team from the worlds best players in FIFA 12. Join over 2 million fans and take on the challenge of building a squad of the worlds best football stars by earning, buying, selling and trading players with other Ultimate Team gamers around the world. Build your ultimate football club the way real-world coaches and managers build the truly great football teams. Match your dream team against your friends best teams whenever you want.

Defending

I feel EA have spent a very long time developing new skills for the defenders, it is alot more exciting playing against a Barcelona defence which is trying to estimate and block every move you try and make. Penetrating the defence is alot more harder then simple running around the defence in previous Fifa's, I think they have spent their time well!

Standing tackle is back in Fifa 12, by simple pressing B your player attempts to make a Standing tackle, id you punch B really close and hard to a player there is a chance of giving away an easy free kick, so you need to time these tackles and estimate the players moves. But as always sliding tackle is back simply pressing X again. Now trustingly EA have increased the damage these tackles do; You can brake players legs and see the pain they go through. When you watch a player flip up in mid-air and then just get back up. They don't in Fifa 12. The fly up, hit the ground hard and they will feel it hard. The Player Impact Engine monitors contact between players in real-time, analyzing the force of the collision and impact on the body to detect real injuries.

Now this Fifa 12 game has currently over 500 officially licensed clubs and more than 15,000 players.

Forthcoming football blockbuster FIFA 12 is to feature an all-star soundtrack, with music from almost 40 artists from around the world too.

Here is some game play i recorded with my HDPVR.

The Sly Collection
Developer(s):Sucker Punch Productions,Sanzaru Games
Platform(s):PlayStation 3
Release date(s)November 9, 2010

Synopsis:
Sly and the gang are back! Experience the classic award winning trilogy, Remastered in 720P High Definition on your playstation 3 system.

Gameplay:
The gameplay of the sly collection is smooth and overall impressive. Never once throughout playing all 3 games did i feel bored nor disconnected.all 3 games provide a innovative story followed by unique missions and bosses making it one hell of a game.

Graphics:
Sanzaru Games did a astonishing job at remastering the trilogy in HD. All the textures have been improved and made to look beautiful on the ps3. Although they aren't revolutionary graphics, they are still quite beautiful considering the fact that it looked phenomenal in its original ps2 form.

Controls:
With this being a platformer, I was have a fear of clunky and sloppy controls, however, This game doesn't disappoint. All of the controls play out smoothly and are easy to pick up, making this a go-to game for everyone.

Replay Value:
This Game will be sucking out many hours of your life. With each game taking 8-10 hours to fully complete, there is no doubt that you're gonna be hooked for quite sometime

THE VERDICT/OVERALL: This game is a great childhood freshener and also a great way for people to experience the classic ps2 games of sony's mascots. It is a truly a great and fun game and for what its worth ($29.99), it's definetly worth picking up.

Game Information

Release date: 9/6/11

Developer: Ubisoft

Genre:Action, Racing, Driving, Sandbox

Synopsis (IGN)

Driver: San Francisco marks the return of the blockbuster driving franchise. Gamers play John Tanner, a hardened detective involved in a relentless manhunt throughout the City by the Bay. Thanks to a groundbreaking gameplay feature, players can now seamlessly shift between more than a hundred licensed vehicles, keeping them constantly in the heart of the action. With its timeless atmosphere, unique car handling and renewed playability, Driver: San Francisco offers the free-roaming, classic, cinematic car chase experience.

Story

Crime boss Charles Jericho smuggler, murderer and the man John Tanner has been chasing across the world is on the loose. He escaped justice following a well-planned jailbreak that also left Tanner suffering a brutal car crash.

With Jericho on the loose, Tanner and his partner Tobias Jones engage in a frantic manhunt across San Francisco. Jericho clearly has a plan, but what is it? Tanner must track down the most dangerous man hes ever faced, because the stakes have never been higher

Before standing Trial, Jericho holds a secret meeting with high-profile inmate Rufus Russel. A mysterious plot is formed and a price tag set at thirty million dollars.

Detective John Tanner watches Jericho like a hawk as he leave court in a prison truck. He arrested Jericho and has been on his case for years, theres a bitter history between the two. Tanner hates Jericho, and is convinced that hell attempt to escape.. Hes right.

Gameplay

Driver San Francisco is different from every racing/driving game youve played , through out the story John Tanner is in a coma, while your character is in the coma he as the ability to "shift" allowing him to transfer into any car at any time.
Of course drving around the entire city of SF looking for one car would be boring, so driver gives you the opportunity to buy cars and garages with the games currency "willpower". One way to earn willpower is by buying garages, by buying the garages you will earn automatic willpower every 20 minutes. (making it easy to get money by just leaving your xbox on ) You can also earn willpower while driving from drifting, jumps, and other driving stunts. As for the cars in the game, they range from dune buggies, muscle cars, sport cars, exotics, and the "average" car. (140+ licensed cars)

Driving through the detailed city of San Francisco, youll find movie tokens. Finding these tokens will allow you to play these challenges that are based off movies such as Bullit, Gone in 60 Seconds, and Dukes of Hazards. There are also 20 other challenges that the game offers you, both of these allow you to compete on the leader boards with friends and the world.

The game also has activities and dares which require you to do certain things to unlock specific cars, abilites etc

Graphics

The graphics for this game are beautiful and run at a smooth 60 frames per second. The games cockpit view is one of the best ive seen, for each car the cockpit view is different from one another and looks the just like the real car.
With the graphics being beautiful, there are drawbacks. For example, the game has no night time driving, or major weather changes.

Controls/Car handle

The controls are very similar to any other racing game, as for the car handling, the game encourages the handbrake. The handling at first is hard to get to but once you get use to the drifting/handbrake it becomes like a 6th sense. Unlike NFS, the car moves around more and in my opinion feels more realistic.

Online

With the shift feature, it gives online multiplayer endless possibilities. The best example is the gametype called tag, the goal of the game is to get the tag and hold it for 100 seconds. With a full lobby the game can get crazy with everyone grabbing cars around you. ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )
Driver also offers something uncommon to racing games which is team based games. There are team based games ranging from capture the flag, takedown ( a getaway car and everyone else is a cop) and blitz. (one team defends a base while the other defends the base)

If shift isnt your style then theres also classic raceway and classic race.

Driver also includes a free roam in case you want to just drive around with your friends (also offered in singleplayer)

Film Director

Film Director is very similar to the file share for halo/Black ops, you can make mini-movies with film director and it goes up to 5 minutes long per video. There are no restrictions to how many videos you are allowed to make. (videos are uploaded to ubisoft website)

My Rating: 9/10
Average rating for driver from websites: 8/10 or 4/5

Release Date: May 18, 2010

Current Price: $39.99 (USD)

Platforms: Xbox 360, Playstation 3

Plot

The year is 1911. A former outlaw/gang member, John Marston, is taken away from his wife and son by government agents. The agents agree with Marston that if he kills the remaining members of his gang then he can have his wife and child back. The game opens with Marston on a train headed toward a small town called Armadillo. He asks a man in the saloon if the man could bring him to Fort Mercer, where one of the gang members, Bill Williamson, is said to be hiding. When at the fort Marston is shot. He is helped by a local woman by the name of Bonnie MacFarlane. Marston promises the MacFarlanes that he will help them to pay off the doctors bill. The rest of the game is full of friendships, nutty but unforgettable characters, and of course, redemption.

Gameplay

The gameplay in Red Dead Redemption is very similar to that of Grant Theft Auto. But this isn't GTA with horses. In Red Dead Redemption you have a simple horse riding mechanic, an also simple but fun shooting mechanic, and of course the Dead Eye Mode. Dead Eye is enabled when you press in the right thumbstick (xbox) and time slows down and gives you a chance to lock onto your targets and fire upon them. This comes in handy when you are swarmed with enemies or are being attacked by animals. You can fast travel from most any location. You just ride up to an empty, flat area and set up a camp. From there you can save the game or teleport to any location on the map. In single player you have the choice to be either a villain or a hero among the locals. You can decide to ride into a town and kill ever person in site or go visit a shop and buy some stuff. You have two systems in this game, Honor and Fame. If you kill a person that is in need you lose honor, if you help a person in need (stolen horses, escaped prisoner, etc.) then you gain honor. Also by doing story missions you can gain or lose honor. Which redirects your fame. Through the course of the game you will level up your fame. Fame never goes down but can only go up. How people see you is based on your honor though. And this is only the singleplayer. Multiplayer has an extensive Free-Roam mode, which allows you and 15 others to run around the desert and do stuff. The multiplayer also has basic gamemodes like deathmatch, capture the bag, or free for all. If you have the Undead Nightmare DLC then you can play a fun and addictive game mode called "Undead Over Run" which is basically a horde mode where you and up to 3 others kill zombies in wave after wave of combat. Overall the gameplay in Red Dead Redemption is fantastic and I hope to see another game much like it (sequel pl0x).

Graphics

The graphics in this game are beautiful. While playing through I never experienced any framerate issues. But there are quite a few screen tears. This game is also very glitchy. But what can you expect with a world as big as this. Sometimes you'll end up falling through the ground, there will be a floating bear, flying cart, random horse deaths, etc. That is a huge issue for me. One time I had to restart a whole mission because the enemy was stuck in a wall and I couldn't kill him. For me it is a huge problem that glitches like this are still happening. But it does make sense because you don't have to go from room to room with loading screens like in Fallout. Overall though the graphics are beautiful. The visuals are stunning, the characters are some of the most lifelike characters I have seen in a game to date.

Issues

As much as I love this game, no game is perfect. The issues in this game are of plenty. The load times, when there are any, are very, very long. The enemies will glitch into buildings or underground. Random stuff will be floating. And sometimes stuff won't appear (a man will be leaning back in a chair but there is no chair). These problems are unacceptable and really do ruin the game for me. I hope that some of these are fixed but until then you'll have to make due.

Overall Rating

Overall Red Dead Redemption gets a 9.5 out of 10. The game is near perfect but the glitches bring it down. I would suggest this game to anyone that enjoys open world, westerns, or third person games.

Plot

Money, fame, and a lovely wife. Famous Author Alan Wake has it all. But there is one problem. He has had writers block for two years and cannot write another book. Alan and his wife, Alice, decide to go on vacation to a small town called Bright Falls. On arrival of the town they go into a diner, where a man is supposed to give Alan a key to his cabin. Instead a mysterious lady gives him a key and directions to a new house on an island on the local lake. Alice thought that going to a different atmosphere would maybe help Alan with his writers block. Alan gets frustrated and leaves the house. The power in the house dies and Alice is worried, she is afraid of the dark, and then Alan hears her scream. He sprints inside and cannot find his wife. Next thing you know you find Alan, one week in the future, not remembering anything that had happened within the previous week. One thing he does know is that there are creatures lurking the dark, creatures called the Taken. Alan shines his flashlight on the Taken until all darkness is taken out of the creatures. Then he shoots them. Alan must find out where the Taken are coming from, where his wife is, and how to get the hell out of Bright Falls. This story is full of plot twists and plot holes. But after the end of the actual game, plus two DLC's, it comes to a satisfying ending that I will never forget. The ending also leads to a sequel. Alan Wake is a very touching and emotional story and you will not forget about it.

Gameplay

The gameplay in Alan Wake isn't very special. You spend most of the time in a forest or somewhere dark. I actually was relieved when I was in the daytime parts of this game due to the fact that some of the stuff i the night time can be pretty creepy and really hold onto you. The game is more story driven so there isn't much to talk about. You basically run around a forest most of the time and get from point "A" to point "B" without being killed. You have two weapons. A flashlight and your choice of firearms. Most of the time you are stuck with a pistol, but occasionally you will find a hunting rifle or a shotgun. You use the flashlight by holding down left trigger (xbox) and holding it on the enemy until the enemy explodes with light. Once you have taken out all of the darkness out of the enemy you shoot it with your weapon. Ammo and batteries are very scarce and this game and to me felt like the first real survival horror, besides from Dead Space, that I had played in quite some time. Though the game is classified as a Psychological Action-Thriller, which it is, I also see a huge essence of survival horror in this game. While I was playing this game at two in the morning I literally was scared out of my mind. Watching my character go through some of the events that he did really made the game feel like the character and I were one. Not a separate bad-ass that runs around and blows shit up like Master Chief or Duke Nukem. Instead you fell like you are Alan Wake, and if anything happens to him you will fall apart as well. Not a lot of games do this but I love it when they do because I can actually connect to the character where in other games I just feel like I'm a random soldier or something running around killing people. If more games added the sense of connection between your character and yourself I would personally enjoy it much more.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

You do have short driving sequences every now and again. The driving is simple. Right trigger (xbox) is go, left trigger is brake, and A is shine headlights. The headlights help you shine the darkness out of the enemies and then you can smash them with a car. The gameplay of Alan Wake can get a little stale. Which is a problem. Like I said with LA Noire I couldn't play this game for more than two or three hours at a time without boring myself. But the story really keeps the game going and is what made me keep playing it the whole time.

Graphics/Audio

The graphics in Alan Wake are simply amazing. They aren't acted but they are generated very well and I hope to see the sequel (if ever made) to be acted. The whole game is beautiful. Cut scenes are gorgeous and lifelike. And often I felt as though I was reading a book or watching a TV show or movie. The mist looks eerie and mysterious and the trees and mountains of the forest look amazing. The facial expressions in this game are fantastic and they couldn't have gone wrong with the graphics in this game.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The one thing that I am most impressed with has to be the soundtrack. The soundtrack is so amazing I am actually considering buying it. Also the voice acting is superb and could not be any better. It actually feels like they are adding emotion into every word and really mean what they are saying unlike the robot type speaking of other games.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Issues

The issues in this game are very few. One major issue is that while playing on Nightmare difficulty, enemies are about three times as hard and there is much less ammo. Also in regular setting the difficulty really spikes up in the last quarter of the game. There aren't any screentare or framerate issues that I have come into. But I have heard people say that there are. Also like I said before the gameplay can get a little boring. Over all this game doesn't have many issues but the issues can be a big deal.

My Opinion

Alan Wake is an amazing, story driven game. I bought both of the DLC's and played them multiple times. I hope to see a sequel and I hope you guys will give this game a chance

Overall Rating

Alan Wake gets a 9/10. This game is fantastic and I suggest it to anyone who is looking for a great story and having a relationship with the character.

Thanks for reading this guys
Skate Duck wrote this whole thing 100%. The only thing I took was pictures and videos. I hope you guys liked it and expect more in the future

Con's
Has been known to lag (haven't personally noticed any lag)
Servers have been going down quite frequently
Campers (in all games but bad especially in BF3)

If you have any pro's or con's I should include, PM me with them, I will give you credit for it.

Problems/Bugs/Glitches

Bug #1: Matchmaking Load Stops
In the Matchmaking screen and on occasion, the Match Finder suddenly stops.
Player Solution: Restart Matchmaking.

Bug #2: Loss of Certain Sounds
In-game and on occasion, I stop hearing certain sounds, mostly objective and environmental based sounds. I can still hear slight sounds of enemy movement and shots fired. The volume of my own shots being fired and movement is slightly decreased.
Player Solution: N/A

Bug #3: Black and White Screen
In-game and on occasion, upon spawn after being killed, my screen appears in black and white.
Player Solution: Click "Start" to bring up the in-game menu, this should fix it, until the next time.

Bug #4: Infinite Loading Screen After Leaving A Game
In the Loading screen and on occasion, after leaving a game, I get an infinite loading screen (or what seems to be infinite).
Player Solution: Return to the Xbox Dashboard.

Bug #5: Missing Gun Model
In-game and upon spawning, gun models are missing completely.
Note: It hasn't happened to me so I don't know the exact instance.

In-game and rarely, I am catapulted while vaulting over an object.
Note: You will most likely take damage from this.

Bug #7: Mic Lag
In-game and most of the time, voice chat lags and skips.
Note: This is in-game voice chat, not Xbox Live Party Chat. This has also happened to other people in the game, not just me.

Bug #8: Knife Hit-Detection
In-game and on occasion, you will miss with your knife. The knives range may be off, or the hit-box may not register the knife.
Player Solution: Try knifing only while the other player is completely still, or while behind them.

Bug #9: Bullet Tracers Not Disappearing
In-game and on occasion, bullet tracers will not disappear, and they will appear to hover in mid-air.

Bug #10: Floating Environmental Models
In-game and on occasion, sections of trees, artillery, etc. will appear to float in mid-air after being destroyed.

Bug #11: Extra Weapon Model
In-game and on occasion, an extra weapon model appears in front of the original weapon model.

Bug #12: Black Screen/Load Freeze
