And no you cannot replace the E-fuses. Well yes and no, you would have to replace your gpu with an exploitable gpu then you could tag the Xbox. To get your cpu key you need to combine the 3 and 5 efuse and it will make a 32 dig number/letter combination. That is your CPU key.

You do not need them, but the other method is really complicated. You would need all the stuff to reball your xbox with, including an exploitable gpu to replace the other gpu with. So unless you have a dead jtag mobo to get the exploitable gpu from and everything to reball an xbox, you must have non-blown e-fuses.

Well it wouldn't do anything, it's impossible to downgrade your xbox to the older dash to JTAG it, if you tried, you would probably blow a fuse(not sure) and damage the xbox forever. Must be 7371 dash or lower to JTAG an xbox, the 13369 or whatever(newest dash) will not work, sorry.

EDIT: It's not impossible, I just think no one has ever tried to do it, or has released a method of doing it.

Flashing you drive enables your xbox to play burnt games, unlike hotswapping yoour xbox; you don't need the real copy to install the game then swap the game out before installing with the modded copy. Flashing isn't really that hard if you know what you are doing. Just burn and play once you flashed a drive.

you cannot jtag this xbox. you cannot downgrade this xbox. no if ands or buts about it.

you can however do the reset glitch to the xbox, but it is pointless as you cannot do the things that you are wanting to do. i would recommend buying a jtag from a trusted seller here on ttg.

e-fuses are blown when you are past the 8559 dashboard. in order for the jtag hack to work you need these e-fuses not blown. there is no way to reinstate the e-fuses.

flashing your dvd drive lets you play copied discs. nothing else. these discs can have iso mods (like waw for example) but they are nothing like jtags.

also the first 32 bytes of an update are sent to 2BL and 4BL so when 4BL tries to boot an older dash that the newest fuse it will error out people with nand backups of older dashes can downgrade and reset glitch xboxes should be able to run a moded 2BL and 4BL to boot any dash they want

check the last time it was updated dashboard update
