I can't thank you enough Casca. I'm currently a Sophomore in high school, and now I know what classes I need to take (I planned on taking Calc anyway :p). I'm definitiley interested in DigiPen. You seriously have no idea how much you just helped my future out.

Very good and informative post.
Someone should contact skatertg and tell him to take Calculus in school and ace the class, because he's really good with c++.
I don't know if its still there, but he has a whole thread about it for beginners.
Personally I'm not interested in the gaming/graphic engineering industry because as the professor(s) said, its almost impossible to even get an interview if you don't have all the qualifications needed. This opportunity has passed for me any way because I didn't take Calculus in High school.
Although this would be cool, I don't think this is the right career for me!
+rep and thanked, as always.
