-P3psi_Fanboy- wrote Honestly I can see America ending up like France during the French Revolution during the 1780's- 1790's were France is falling apart from their medieval Estate system were there was no middle class and the government was corrupt on the verge of bankruptcy on the verge of collapsing, poor people and rich people separated by class i.e First, Second, and Third Estate. There are riots going on there's no sense of patriotism anymore the education is poor and declining. The rich don't want to pay taxes every thing in some sense is still related to religion. I guarantee you know someone who is below the poverty line. It's not just our education that's failing us it's our whole country. China practically owns us because we owe $13 trillion alone to them so there has to be reforms that are more effective than Obama's
Well, there is a Middle Class in this COuntry and well as an Upper and a Lower Class.
You are right about China though, they practiacally are owning the 21st Century even though we are barley 11 Years into it.
I was watching a Show on the History Channel and they have risen 400,000,000+ People out of Poverty just by their Expansion to Highways which is a Major Source in China due to there being over 1.3 Billion Citizens.
Plus they aren't in a War every 3 Years like the U.S is, this country has been in so many wars so far.

you see you are not thinking about what happened in the past you keep thinking about now. France finished their 100 year war with England then to go to French and Indian War to helping America for freedom to government collapse with the Austrian and Prussians trying to stop the uprising to having a tyrant as a leader (imo Napoleon was)to war with every country in Europe in a mater of 50 years. think

Whatever, I dont care of your opinion.

Lol, Then why engage in a discussion about it?

Owned.

Because I think you made a very poor descision when you dropped out of school, and I thought maybe youd think again.

I feel sorry for you.

Sorry for me? Lol.

I feel sorry for you, you clearly are brain washed to no think for your self... Maybe you should educate yourself on the actual Education System before you engage in a debate about it... You clearly show the ignorance the education system feeds you.

My cousin has a degree in electrical engineering, and he dropped out of high school in 9th grade. My Dad works for Google and dropped out at grade 10.

Both very successful people who dropped out.

Yet you engage in a debate, but then pretty much say "Oh i dont care what you have to say.. Im right your wrong" Which clearly shows your lack of intelligence/maturity.

To me, this was not a debate, this was me trying to change your mind and go back to school, because all america needs is another dropout thinking he/she will go on to be a very successful person. And obviously, you have your mind set, and if that is the path you are going to choose, so be it. Its not my life. And I wish you good luck.

Lmao, So you think you know whats best for me... But yet you can barely even support your argument for more then 4-5 reply's but i am able to continue to argue it with actual sources and evidence and not pure opinionated beliefs unlike you.

Ugh, This is why the System is bad.. It leaves people like you who feel everything you have been told is 100% correct, just because someone told you so.

Stop being a robot to society and learn things for your self, instead of being taught in a biased, corrupt system.

Ok, i am so sorry that "I cant keep up an arguement for more than 4-5 replies", Im sure that will ruin my life. And the things taught in school are 100% correct. That is why it is taught to us. 1+1 is in fact 2. H is short for Hydrogen, which is found in the periodic table. Hitler was the ruler of germany, and the root cause of the holocaust. And I know what you are going to say, I know that general education is needed! But that is all the School is. grades 1-12 are teaching you the basics. Where is your proof that those things are wrong?

12 years of learning the 'Basics' is a waste of time... You can learn the 'Basics' in just 9 years and then spend high school working towards things that are actually important to society.

Im not saying school teaches incorrect 'Facts', But school teaches everyone based upon the same Philosophy and brings kids up to think by those philosophy's and not by their own.

Basic education can be taught between grades k-9 and the rest should be allowing the student to develop their mind towards their future career plans. Not waiting untill they are 20 and then allowing them to.

Life is short, and i want to move on with my life instead of being stuck doing repetitive and now pointless things i already have grown to know and understand.

I agree on that point, but these days, life length has improved. People live longer, become greater, 12 years of school to learn every last bit of detail? Sure Im in, im expecting myself to be living 80+ years (given nothing unexpected happens), and this is my opinion, 12-16 years of school, to learn what you want, get a degree in something, and then 50 years to put it in action. Thats a pretty good deal to me.

What you fail to realize is those first 12-16 years are the most important years of your life, So sure you may live long after that point.. But those ages and opprotunitys are something you can never get back...

Just the otherday i was out eating with my family at a Restaurant and i look over and i see a young kid probably around the ages of 12 doing homework at the restaurant, and having his parents help him with his homework.... Seriously? Do you not see how much school invades your personal life? This kid cant even enjoy a meal with his own parents, and create good memorys without his School work suppressing that moment?

Im not sure how old you are, but trust me. As you get older, and as people come and go.. You learn how much actual time you wish you could have back.. But you cannot get it back.

It sickens me as well on how you have to take pointless classes such as art, since you will not even become an artist when you grow up...

You can do homework whenever you want. During class after school, in the morning, it doesnt matter. And just because they were doing it in a restaurant makes it

No you cant get them back, thats why you make the most of it while it lasts, have fun do your schoolwork, go to parties, or wtf ever. I know a hundred people that are forty plus that find school so interesting because they finished twenty years ago and forgot what its like.

It's even worse in Australia dude, I got piss all practical skills bar those form the classes I took that offered them, learnt about 500 different ways to add numbers together for the same solution, nothing that I wanted to do, I had to teach myself how to do things like write scripts & code, how to animate, error-checking,etc. and then from there I took a business course at school which taught me absolutely nothing that was relevant to the real world, I doubt Bob Smith is ever going to need to sell 19 properties at the same time in order to pay of his debts whilst having a successful stock portfolio at the same time.

Half the things schools teach have no life value, sure, calculus is good for people like me who need it for their uni/college careers, but for the majority of people they'll never use it again.

Schools use a curriculum set by either state or federal governments who have no idea the current job market,employers look for those previously skilled in or who have experience with whatever tool/s they will be using, not some fresh faced kid off the street, it's stupid, and then they wonder why the global economy is collapsing, I'll let them in on a little secret;

You need to give people employable & practical skills, not just theoretical ideas on how things should work

Politicians will be the death of all of us as long as the keep serving corporate greed and their own private agendas.
