The monitor has a 60hz refresh rate, they both get well over 60 FPS constant so spending more for the same result isn't worth it. You may also want to take in note the MSI 560 ti blows hot air directly into the case - it also may be too much for your 500w PSU to handle ( depends on the brand ).

I'd look for low-profile RAM since there will be clearance issues with those huge sticks.

I Don't want to go for a higher res as i don't like really small icons on the desktop

What?

Would that monitor not be overkill with the 560TI?

May go for it as i can enlarge the icons can't i

I have plenty of space in my case ATm it has 5 fans as well blowing air out and one intake fan and the RAM i have changed to these:

Also the brand of the PSU is Alpine

Yes, yes you can. If you're going for that 1920 x 1080 monitor, you'll want that 560 ti ( fantastic choice btw ). It also uses DVI input compared to VGA which I'm going to assume you're running.

Better choice of RAM.

I've never really heard anything about Alpine, but if it's been holding your 5770 for this long, it should handle the 560 ti fine as long as there is 2 x 6 pins.

A lot of the 'low end' PSU's don't live up to what they say. The Antec above does cost more, but has a great reputation in the PSU industry. Has 2 x 6 pins so you'll be set - modular as well!

Just a tip, if you're just looking for gaming performance, you may want to hold off on the RAM since games don't really use more than 4.

Sounds good.

Descent rig is a understatement, especially with the upgrades you have in mind! You have the best gaming CPU out and a really nice 560 ti ( I got 2 of 'em ).
