So pretty much your raging because it wouldnt give you founder status?
And know your saying it useless although its really not useless?
You get all they map packs included so obviously it not useless.
Stop crying about your problems and let people decide for themselfs

So after round 3 with tech support for an hour long call.
The ONLY way to get founder status is with the code from the hardened edition which does not have a deadline.
According to activision...the December 13th deadline actually has nothing to do with activating founder status itself because you can always do that with the code from the hardened edition.
Their official final answer is that if you pre-ordered a copy of hardened edition before release and still haven't gotten it fulfilled yet they will not be fulfilling/shipping orders after Dec 13th and you will have to track one down. That's what actually cut off.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that thought you can get founder without buying hardened...
It might have something to do with this entry on their site:

To become a Call of Duty ELITE Founder, all you need to do is activate a premium membership either by subscribing to ELITE through the Xbox Live Marketplace or PlayStation Store, or by buying a redemption code through a traditional retail store before that December 13 deadline, and youll get all your Founder entitlements in ELITE. For those that picked up a Hardened Edition copy of Modern Warfare 3 and have their ELITE code, there is no need to worry, as that will not expire and can be activated anytime. For everyone else, you only have a limited time to act once the deadline passes, you wont be able to obtain Founder status again. And wed love to have you on board.

Thanks for reading first line of my post:
"This is not meant to start another discussion about whether you should pay for elite or how good or stupid the service is. It's about the customer service behind the service."
The post is to stop people from buying premium if they are doing it just to get founder status because they can't now.
As I stated above, I did it mainly for the DLC, but I did it early/finally made the decision to actually buy it today for the founder status.
They're simply dodging the actual question of redeeming on time or not, and turning it into to saying "that's not what the deadline was for and you still have to have a hardened edition anyway."

1) Founder just gives you extra titles and emblems
2) You can glitch to get the Winter Camo
3) There's probably 3-4 DLC's total, and each DLC is $12, so that means premium will almost be able to pay for itself!
4) There's other ways to level up your clan
