This is not meant to start another discussion about whether you should pay for elite or how good or stupid the service is. It's about the customer service behind the service.
I signed up this morning because the popup in the xbox elite app said I had until 12PM West coast today to get founder status.
As soon as I purchased the subscription, the elite app would no longer sign in and eventually would say the servers were unavailable.
After checking the forums I saw you had to wait a few hours anyway so I went to work. I can say I'm not surprised it's still not working. So I went on the support chat and they said the deadline was yesterday sorry. Since I upgraded, obviously I don't get that popup anymore. I'm willing to admit if I'm wrong, but when I called the support number after the chat that rep even said, "I apologize for the confusion, I thought the same thing myself until I came in today, But there was still nothing I can do." He put me on hold and spoke to a supervisor and same answer. They advised the only way to get founder now is to find someone who has hardened edition that already redeemed the premium code, but not the founder code. And of course they are hiding behind the XBox store's no refund policy. When I advised it said you can cancel at anytime, he said "Yes, you can cancel at anytime but you will not get a refund"
I'm willing to admit if I'm wrong..but is anyone still getting the popup where I could get a pic of it. Even better would someone be willing to PM a hardened code they don't need cause they're already a founder? They said it was 12/13 12AM, either way, it's not 12 AM PST yet, and I signed up at like 10 am this morning.

What is the "Founder" I've never understood that? Cause I'm getting Elite for Christmas and I would like to know more details please.

Can take up to 48 hours for founder status to show up, personally it took mine five days. Just wait it should show up, if not email support.

Ok..that's a pain to cut and paste every line.
So I think its real funny that he even sent me a link with no time in it and that is their whole argument.
Oh and that link saying to hurry up is up there at 12:11 pm EST...

i guess thats just coincidence then..i ran it, then subscribed and tried to go right back in and hasnt worked since. My
concern is that I purchased it after seeing the founder deadline was extended to today. But now looking at the faqs it
says the ONLY way to get founder is to buy the hardened edition

It doesn't mean that if you don't get Founder XP that you shouldn't buy Elite Premium. You get all the DLCs. Founder XP isn't the only way to level up a clan you know..

Founder really is just a few emblems and winter gun camo. I certainly wouldn't spend the $50 just for them.
I did the elite premium for the DLC price advantage for future maps. It's just the principal of the founder thing pushed me over the edge to sign up today instead of waiting to being closer to the DLC releases.

I haven't even looked into the clan thing. But I know some clans won't invite you without it if I did have a chance to check it out. I doub't my K/D ratio is what they are looking for anyway
