Haha it's just me here! But if you could post a little more info, you'll get a better recommendation. In the OP I made a little guide for conveying what you want to me. For instance, your music tastes, what form factor you want, etc.
music type:rap,dj type
style:any kind is find with me

These! They're designed to be DJ headphones, and will compliment your music very well with their bassy signature. They're comfortable, built well, portable, and well-built.
any chance they will sell at bestbuy? and thanks would have never found these
I doubt it. Best Buy has a really bad headphone selection, and I don't know of anywhere besides the rare niche audio or DJ shop that stocks even decent headphones. Good thing Amazon is so great to deal with!
thanks and merry christmas
Thanks! I hope you had one too!

I don't want to disappoint you, but I'm not going to lie to you. They're really not good at all.

If you can take them back and get these, you won't regret it. These are built much better, sound much better, and are available for around the same price.
thanks for the reccomendation, hope you had a good christmas!!

I think I've covered this. I just don't understand why things that you have not heard of are dumb. That's not a mindset that will get you very far in life.
And you think I recommend ugly headphones? HA!

In love with the way the M80 looks and will probably grab a pair. I really appreciate your help.
Also, could you recommend me a gaming headset < $200 that is usable for the PC and/or Xbox 360?

The best setup for your money might be the Audio Technica AD700 and a wireless Xbox mic. Dedicated gaming headsets just plain suck. There's not much else to it. If you want a mic, get a wireless mic like the Xbox branded one and use a little velcro tape to attach it to the headphones! You might not even need to buy new cans, since your M80s will do nicely. The AD700 will have better positioning, so to speak, but it's probably not worth the extra cash.
For PC, just pair it with a Zalman clip mic. They're less than 10 bucks.

Where are the LCD-3s and HD800s on this list?
did you get "called out" for not wearing a specific brand?

They probably aren't on the lists because most users here wouldn't pay $1k+ for headphones...not to mention the fact that many are here for first-time advice. I definitely wouldn't recommend a $1k+ headphone for a first-time headphone seeker.
Heck, I wouldn't pay that much even as a beginner audiophile since I don't have the proper audio setup for those headphones (DAC/amp).
