That wouldn't be the best of ideas would it, putting it in the freezer, as I have researched (a few mins googling) it wouldn't work, it'd probably break it more.

Eucliwood wrote You could of just put 3-4 towels around it, leave it on for 20 minutes and let it cool for 15... That's what I do ._.Over time it will just destroy it. Doing that just warps the board back into place so it gets a connection with the GPU again. The board also warps away from the GPU in the first place because of heat.

MODERN_WARFARES wrote Before my attempt to repair my xbox the only problem is I kept getting the two red rings and so I looked up a youtube video, I order Heat paste and rubbing alcohol for the x-clamp repair. I did everything from start to finish. When I turned on my xbox I got 3 rings. I went backwards to see if I did anything wrong and I watched the video at least 10 times, Also I checked other video's and they had all the same method. I spent 10 hours trying to solve the problem. I almost threw my xbox out my window.
*Right now my xbox is in my freezer.
Be careful having your xbox in the freezer. it should have a towel around it. and dont have it longer than 1.5 - 2 hours. and if it doesnt work then, you could find a tutorial on YT to fix it, or go deliver it to the store you bought it and get it fixed
