im rooting my phone now but it still says:

Run it as an administrator, make sure you have the drivers for the phone downloaded and installed.

You have to make sure you have the correct drivers installed or it will hang. Also rooting should not take more than a few mins. I rooted my phone the way you are and it took bout 3 mins. If its taking long you may have a problem.

i dont know whats wrong, i have multiple drivers and drivers just for my type of phone, but it keeps hanging but when it gets past the first part its hung at it hangs at another spot for a good bit.

i hate too say it but you may want to look into trying one of the one touch root apps if it keeps failing.
