Well, I want to see which game is more popular overall and which everyone likes the most.

Here are my views on the 2 games:

Call of duty:

Pros

1. Killstreaks
2. Private matches
3. Easier to obtain guns/upgrades

Cons

1. Camping
2. Ragers
3. Hackers
4. Over powered guns
5. Glitching

Overall thought:

Call of duty is a great game and all, but it is to repetitive. They just add new maps, new campaign, a few new guns, and then switch the perks around with different names and usually use the same engine. Also, there are many many hackers on call of duty, which usually ruins the gaming experience and enables people to unfairly rank up through 10th lobbies. And there is always a few guns in the game that are overpowered and so overused that it ruins the game. And the use of killstreaks is sometimes unfair, like in MW3 people can use support and get killstreaks they shouldn't have. Plus the many glitches that give some players an unfair advantage.


Battlefield 3:

Pros

1. Vehicles
2. Squads
3. Larger maps
4. More realistic audio
5. Better selection of equipment
6. Destroyable materials/buildings/cover
7. Co-op + Special unlockable Co-op guns for multiplayer
8. No hackers or glitchers

Cons

1. No private matches
2. Camping (Very little)


Overall thought:

From experience, I favor the Battlefield series more than CoD. The game is overall more realistic in sound (gun shots, explosions, etc.) and more realistic in general with other things, like the health bar, even though the health bar starts to regenerate after a while, its not like you can get shot in the head 4 times, get a red screen, take cover for 2 seconds and then regenerate your health like in CoD. And the addition of squads I found quite nice. You can get in a squad with your friends and spawn on eachother and help eachother out. Battlefield also has a better selection of equipment than in CoD. For instance, assault can put down med-pacs so nearby teammates can regenerate health and can also use defibrillators to revive downed team mates if they reach them in time. Or the support class can lay down ammo crates to regenerate nearby team mates ammo. And so on. And even though some equipment is limited to certain classes, its not like people can make a class with a little of everything like in CoD. And the destroyable material feature is useful because it allows you to make a improvised entrance to a building with explosives if the door/entrance is being camped or blocked (which I find quite fun) and to root out campers in buildings by taking down the walls. And there are no hackers nor are there any glitches.

Conclusion:

CoD and Battlefield are both great games, don't get me wrong. But personally I prefer Battlefield, and I've only had battlefield for a week, and I've played CoD since it came out.
