so in theory the whole 2012 thing has some credibility to it?

Essentially yes it is but not on the ground. Its in the atmosphere and it's producing a sound which is vibration.

It's obviously a legendary pokemon trying to warn us xD

this happened in aug/sept of 2011 also but with it was the sky was also flashing. but seems as if no one noticed it and they notice it now cause its the year 2012. js

This is false. The poles are changing which is causing the sounds. If they were to stop before they finish or before the return back to their original state then we would have issues.
