Gun DLC is very unlikely because everyone would have to buy it. Otherwise people would be getting shot by guns they can't even see lol

This can actually be avoided very easily,they would release the weapon dlc. Then when you search for games it only puts you in games where other people have the dlc. It's what they do for the map packs and would work for this. If you wanted to play with someone without the dlc it would be disabled.
