Mania wrote No matter what people say its not going to change my beliefs. God does exist. There is a heaven and a hell. Im sorry you are blinded by the worlds beliefs and i hope you can change your ways
Atheists blinded by the worlds beliefs = oxymoron.
If anything it is the religious people that are blinded by the worlds beliefs, there are simply more religious people than non-religious people. So since you state that god exists, show me some proof that can give your claim some merit.
i hope you can change your ways
What is that we are doing wrong, that is harmful to society and others around us? Just because we don't believe in god(s) means that we are bad people? You're kidding me right?
Let me just give you a rundown on world tragedies caused by religion...
If anything, religions need to change their actions. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

bhopper wrote One question for some of you guys. If God does not exist then how did we all get here? Don't tell me things like the Big Bang. That is all crap. It is 100x easier to believe that something created something than nothing created something.
I completely understand your argument. It is extremely hard to believe that something was created out of nothing. However, scientists can very nearly see the big bang, well they can see the very early universe, I cannot be bothered to explain how. I will explain another time however.

God does not exist - fact.
No more realistic than a third grader thinking a lkadjflksajdjfahdlkfhsdkjf exists..
whatever that would be, it is unrealistic, and is non - existent, Period
same EXACT thing with religion
First of all tell me how you know there is not a god. Tell me the facts that prove that there is not a higher being that created life. Althoug science is right about evolution and how earth was made, how do You think that came about. There is a higher being that made that first molecule or that first atom or that first organism. You are very ignorant and base none of your arguments on facts
That is what science is all about, finding the answers to questions like these. Science is very young, and we haven't had enough time to fully put in research to comprehend what happened before the big bang. Just because we haven't found all the answers, doesn't make your god real, or deem it veracious. Currently, there are some information posted up online with brief explanations on what happened before the Big Bang. Simply because you do not fully understand something, doesn't mean that it gives merit to what you believe in. Take time and research on what happened before the Big Bang, before you go making assumptions.

Slyestcat wrote Until there is 100% hard evidence that God isn't real and He didn't create the universe. I will believe in Him, and I probably always will
So based on evidence and observations that goes against religion or god itself, you would pick the one with no evidence? Religion is based on faith, faith is based on spiritual apprehension without factual evidence. So tell me, how does the idea of god outweigh current evidence against him?

So the Big Bang never happened, but god was just there? I find that hard to believe too. Your statement is a paradox of contradicting outcomes. How was god created? Who created, the thing that created god? Then who created, the person that created, the person that created god? Interminable statements for that argument.

I dont how understand how you could NOT believe in God...
Do you just believe everything happened by chance ?
I feel it is actually more scientifically correct to believe that God made all of this than to think we came into being just from chance.
