what should i get? (and im a beginner with this stuff, what other stuff do i need witt your sugestion?)

some i heard of:
hd pvr: (too expensive)
dazzle: (alright i heard, but quality same as easy cap)
roxio: (idk is it good?)
easey cap: (very cheap and can get very good quality that almosts looks hd, but takes other programs and other chords to work)

It's best to get the HD PVR to start off with as it's the best one. Rather than buying a Dazzle and then going onto a PVR cause then you'd waste money if you actually find that you enjoy recording clips.

Get a hd pvr. Its a tad expensive but its worth it.
Maybe even a black magic capture cards, they are cheaper and still amazing quality.
When you get a dazzle or easycap you may render it at 16:9 or 720p But it isnt EVER that.
Roxio- Can be good, but if you are going for HD. Put that extra money in and get a better capture card

+repped, thanks for the info.
how much is a black magic cap card?
and yea i know that about easy caps, but ive seen some videos on youtube where it is 720p and looks so good it almost looks hd. only problem is if i get that, i then neeed extensions cables, splitters, and software programs, etc. are other cap cards a lot more simpler? AND WHY DONT THEY MAKE AN EASY CAP WITH AN HDMI CABLE, COULD MAKE MILLIONS WITH THAT INVENTION.

An HD PVR is the best device to record with, but they're pretty costly.
