I'm an audio enthusiast (audiophile), so I can justify spending big money on headphones. It's simply a matter of getting your money's worth. With Beats, you're not. You're paying more than twice what you should, even is you can get them for way under retail. With other headphones, even expensive headphones, you get what you pay for. If you can appreciate what a $1000 headphone setup (that actually sounds like a $1000 setup) can do, it's worth it.

Price/performance wise decent headphones/IEMs/earbuds paired with good players (and amp if required) are much better than a full-fledged Hi-fi system with subwoofers, woofers, tweeters, an amp, a receiver, and a good source.

Of all audio products, IEMs/earbuds offer the most for the least, and a lot of us have found the optimal combination to be in the $80-$120 range. Any more and the law of diminishing returns starts to apply.

Can anyone here give me some suggestions to fix up the topic a little more?

Please read the OP, it's been explained.

Also, I don't think many of those words are proper nouns or at the beginning of a sentence.

Well yes for about $0.50 I could get another cable (none of that rocketfish or monster cable crap mind you), but for all that money you've invested you should at least expect your headphones to be more durable. The fact that the cord wears away on its own is disturbing enough.

Well most cables do that...I've had to replace the cables on half of my cables, but I'm pretty reckless.

Hmm, this topic isn't really generating as much hype as before.

But, I might as well add a poll to here since that is the only thing left.

If you say so.

But, realize the money you pay for them and the terrible quality, build that you end up getting.
