I sold my RGH xbox almost a month ago...
The guy sent the money as a gift, so i didnt loose money on Fees and all that...
Then i sent the xbox, he got it and was perfectly happy..
A few days later, Paypal opened a case saying they are 'reviewing the transaction'
Then my balance went down to -175 (sold xbox 175)
I gave them the tracking number that said they have signed for the item.
Next thing paypal email me saying that the money has been returned to the buyer..
So i ring paypal, and they do nothing about it, just tell me that he shouldnt of sent it as a gift if he was buying something...
Now the person will not send the money again, and i am left with -175 GBP in my paypal.
What can i do about this?

Well, this is pretty much illegal as you sold something and the money was taken from you...
I would call them and talk to them some more.

no.. He cannot charge back the money as it was sent as a gift, paypal returned the money to him.

I dont understand why the money would go negative in the first place?
But if paypal cant do nothing, I doubt there is anything you can do

What are you talking about? If he paid you 175 - 175 = 0.
How are you negitive? He paid you 175 then they took the 175 which equals 0..

if you spend that 175 or any of it then they will still take 175 wether you have all or non, you will end up owing paypal money
