overear

Whether you want open or closed headphones (Explained below). closed

What you are listening from
Desktop!

also i will be using these for gaming for bf3 on pc at night because during the day i use my sorround sound system

The Audio Technica A900X would be a good option for you. Maybe an Ultrasone PRO750 or PRO900 and an amp.

If you want something world-beating for gaming, though, an AKG K701/Q701 and an Astro Mixamp along with a Zalman ZM-1 mic is a killer combo. They use an open design, but it makes gaming even better. Have a look:

Other good options for gaming are the Audio Technica AD700, which does not need any special amplification like the K701 but has the same qualities that make it great for gaming, and Ultrasone headphones with S-Logic should be decent.

Haha, what gave you that notion? It's less of a matter of me hating the headphones, it's a matter of me hating what they're doing to the headphone industry and that my generation is supporting it. I hate Monster as well for their misleading and unethical business practices, and therefore love to cost them sales and keep my money out of their pockets. Come to think of it, I've probably cost Beats Electronics and Monster quite a bit of change! That's pretty satisfying.

How much are you interested in spending and what kind of music do you prefer? Also, what design would you like? Over-ear, on-ear, or in-ear?
