GhostModder wrote I don't see it too often, but the thing that annoys me about bandwagons is the people who avoid them completely.

For example: "Oh, the whole school is doing that? Screw that!"

IMO, people should do whatever they want to do. People shouldn't even pay attention to a bandwagon.

If YOU like it, do it.

And that is what you call a hipster.

If I double post here I'm REALLY sorry, but I have to quote this, because I was going to add it to my original post but I didn't because I was getting myself all frustrated. I 100% agree, since if I see a celebrity wearing something nice, even if everyone else is already wearing them, I'll probably get myself a pair just because I like them... Not because they're popular.
People who think they're underground and 'hip' because they do 'their own thing' are just as bad as these people who follow the 'bandwagon'

I totally agree. There were so many people who didn't give two shits about the cony guy but started posting about it just because everybody else was. Stuff like that really pisses me off.

_Trance_ wrote Well fair enough o.k rant, but id bet in different circumstances you would rant about people who are independent

Like grunger's, goths etc

All in all it's a two way street

Actually, I consider myself somewhat independent... I have relatively long hair, Just near my shoulder blades, I usually wear black and I listen to well, what some people would call Goth music... So I wouldn't rant against them... I don't care what people wear, as long as its what they want to wear or do, not what they think they should have to wear or do...

You are contradicting yourself then?

There always a bandwagon and you happen to be a part of one, i just duon't see why people would care it appears to some people as stylish, oh and before justin beaver wore that hat i've had one three years or so, why? because it's warm

Welcome to humanity, people don't act or think logically.

Enjoy your stay.

No, not really... I have my hair like this because I like it this way, and I dress like I do because I find the clothes somewhat comfortable and I think they look pretty good. The music I enjoy because it relates a lot to War, which I like... I don't do it to be 'original'.
And yes, I perfectly understand wearing one because they're warm... But people wear them on really hot days because they think they look good, or because they're popular... Which gets me angry.
