you can get portable disk trays for mini notebooks off the internet, search them up and there easy to use

Seems that you can't do that. You must have the original boot CD in order to fix it. You were supposed to create one when you first got the computer when it was being set up. But I found a video that might help, the process wont be easy but it works. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
