sorry for the double post and not flamming at all, but I do not see a thing wrong with this post. though I am not a moderator, this is to discuss about the rules and part of that discussion is wether you like the new rule or not, and grizzly here is just expressing his opinion.

I'm not saying anything bad but I bet he didn't even read all of the topic and if he was expressing his self then he would of put some actual feedback instead of just putting something along the lines of "I definately agree." there's no point in posting if your not actually giving any feedback at all.

It seemed to be working out pretty well, getting rid of some useless posts by becoming more strict, but there will always be people breaking rules, no matter what the consequence like what Goldsilvern ^^^ posted. Some people just can't adapt.

I mean this wouldn't be a problem if u hadn't been slaking for about 6 months. I mean have you SEEN the Mw3 Modding section Jezus. I would rather you focus ur time on that then caring about what type of Soft Drink people like. That's WHAT a General Dicussion is.

So...despite the fact that rules have been posted, people still post and still break the OBVIOUS rules. So, why is it that people are so upset when they do it and they in turn get banned?

We're not asking for posting to stop, as you can see, I do leave some threads that are worthwhile for discussion.

This is a General DISCUSSION, so what people need to understand is, your topic needs to be up for DISCUSSION.

Sub to my YT, Need 48 Hour Trial...you cannot discuss that. That's leeching.

What's better, coke or pepsi? .... What does that have to do with a Gaming Community? It's been asked OVER 100 times in multiple threads.

I'm going to leave this open for a bit, I really want to see what the maturity level is in some of the responses.

I want this area to focus on a more mature discussion basis.

When the quality of threads becomes of a higher standard, people will be given the slack in here. When it's abused, we take the slack and hang you with it.

Well, you're the dumbest person I've seen today. First off, he wasn't talking about bans, he was saying what he'd do to people who were spamming. Secondly, the thread closures was the whole point of this, he is trying to keep the General Discussion tidy. And even if he was he is allowed to, he is an admin. And this isnt spamming, this is debate.

I can hear him coming...

What's there to discuss about this? I'll be honest, you're laying down the rules. As a mod, you get that option. If we "discuss" and speak our genuine opinions, some of the peoples opinions well get them banned. I see no way people can really discuss this topic....

agreed follow the rules without rules its gay if you break the rule while driving and a cop doesn't give you a ticket what are you going to do your going to do it again. so basically the mods are the cops we are criminals only when we do something bad there needs to be something done i myself have done some bad stuff and been temp banned on here but i learned from my mistakes and improved my posts stoped doing this "ya thats cool get it 20202020" but if there wasnt amazing mods like Icy-Tank then this website would be full of leeches spamer scamers and would be stupid with out cops you would need a new tv every week cause its stolen so respect them. THANKS Icy-Tank FOR YOUR HARD WORK KEEP IT UP AND KEEP RUNNING THIS SECTION THE WAY YOU DO

When the rules say you cant talk about bans, they mean you cant talk about banned accounts (e.g asking them to unban accounts, asking why it was banned, etc.)

And he isnt above the rules, he is enforcing them.

the funny thing is you're probably using a proxy just to get back on to the website as I'm guessing you've been ip banned. Its not the staff's fault you can't follow a few simple rules. They make the rules. We follow them.
