There's a ladder that leads to the island.
But I'll use TNT to blow up holes around the islands straight down to bedrock..

Use lava instead of water.

Then I'll simply build up in the sky, a skyblock. The 1x1 tower leading up will be detonated by pre-placed tnt, and it won't affect the island, the spawn.
