Problem:

Laptop will not turn on at all and shows no signs of life besides when I hook the Power cable in the laptop and the plug in LED will flash every second and sounds like a ticking noise coming from the light it will do this to a endless amount of time tell I unplug the power.

Also I'd like to add, I put my laptop down on my couch to go check up on my baby sister and when I got back it shocked me twice and it didnt work after that besides the ticking noise and the LED flashing at the plug in.

Tried:

I have tried unplugging the battery, reset the CMOS battery, taken out HardDrive, DVD Drive, Wireless card, Network Card, unplugging cords from the motherboard, even taking out the Processer and it will still make this ticking sound and blinking the light.

I think it might be a blown resistor or capacitor, but I have looked very close to the motherboard with no luck on finding any of thes, and I cant find a short either. I have tested if the motherboard is getting enough power from the plug in from a OHM Meter and it does get power. Also, It will not respond to the battery, it will only tick and blink when plugged in.

I have tried a different plug in and it still does this, I do not have warrenty and am not looking to send it to someone or someplace to be fixed. I am personally experienced but I have never had to deal with this.

Please comment and send suggestions on what it could be or what you think it could be. Thank you to everyone that is willing to read and try to help. I will REP if anyone does happen to make progress on my laptop.

I own several Tashibas, it sounds like your drive might be ready to go. I would re-install (boot from disc) wimdows and see if that would help. You will loose every thing on the cpu but it's worth a try. And i am subscribed to your sight on you tube my name

either your system got deleted or your motherboard got burned out happened to me when it would not boot up at all and it was the motherbboard that got burned out in it.. P.S. if it ever dos turn on reinstall windows with the disc or buy one
