The Philips Citiscape Uptown, Ultrasone HFI-580, V-Moda LP, and maybe the Audio Technica Pro 700 MkII, are some you should take a look at. The Pro 700 is a bit over budget and the LP is a bit under.

Thanks, The Pro700's look very nice looks like an investment!

Haha, I concur! Good reading: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I need 2 pairs, split between 120 pounds.. So I'll cross off the budget, just make sure that it's no more than 120 between both headphones..

Music preference: DNB and Dubstep

Type / form factor and portability: Over Ear

Open/Closed (Not for in-ear): Closed

Source(s): Computer..

It'd be great if these could look really nice and sleek.. I want a pair of nice looking headphones..

Music preference: DNB and Dubstep

Open/Closed (Not for in-ear): //

Source(s): iPhone

These will be used for running, so it'd be good if they stayed in your ears nicely..

For running IEMs, I pretty much always recommend you go cheap. Cheap =/= bad, though, the Meelectronics M6 will surprise you! They use an over-the-ear cable design so they stay out of the way and snug in your ear.

For the over-ear cans, you might like the design of the V-Moda LP. It's a pretty good option, but pricing is odd. It's ~$110 here, but 100 pounds there. You're getting shafted a bit, if you ask me. That's for the white one, which is the cheapest on Amazon in the UK. You could also check out the Philips Citiscape Uptown, which is not as bassy but better overall. Those are $150 here and like 75 pounds there!

Eh. Don't expect the sound or build quality to be up to par with regular 100 pound headphones. I'd personally avoid them, but I've heard good things about the RS220, although it's overpriced.

Your budget (make sure you tell me what currency!)
Candian Money (Budget 100-400$
Which genres you'll be listening to.
Dubstep, Techno, DnB, Rap, Rock

What kind you want (over-ear, on-ear, in-ear, no preference, etc.) and whether you want portability.
No preference, But I prefer Over-ear

Whether you want open or closed headphones (Explained below).
It Doesnt matter too me.

What you are listening from (iPod, phone, desktop computer, laptop, console, turntable, etc.).
I will refer to this as your source.

iPod, Laptop.

I know I'm not following the form but maybe you can help me decide what speaker system I could use for my TV at home? Like surround sound or something, I have no idea.

You got any recommendations or know anything about speaker systems for TVs?

I'd go for the Ultrasone Pro 900 if you want to spend all of your budget. They're unbelievable with electronic music and have a great design. They're versatile and extremely durable, comfortable as well.

If you want to push them even further, you can pair them with an amp like the Fiio E11 and use a line-out cable with your iDevice. This will improve the sound quality a good bit and has a bass-boost function that's great. It will make the bass on these headphones even more earth-shattering. They can be used unamped, but an amp will let you get the most out of them.

If you'd rather spend less, just tell me.
