It's like trying to compare Canon to Nikon, and being a photographer I KNOW FOR A FACT that neither brand is better. They both have strengths and weaknesses just like Apple and PC.
So get off your high horse and accept that.
Also, I'm a moderate, (Socially liberal, economically conservative), I'm not gay, and I don't want communism. So your demographics are useless. What's wrong with being liberal or gay? Are you a homophobic ****?
There are good things about PCs and Macs, when either side refuses to acknowledge the other's pros and cons everyone just becomes a biased idiot.

This guy is right, it's not like you can't get a good PC in my opinion, and it's not like there isn't a bad mac either. Both have their own little niche and when people try to cut into those they look like a dumbass because they don't know why people use them. If I didn't design and take photos chances are I'd probably have a cheaper PC, but it's my lively hood so I got a Mac.

Would you mind explaining to me why your mac book is better than my alienware? because i am confused with how these numbers and statistics work.........
Because some of what I paid for is AppleCare, a display that will help me in my designing and photography (it's an amazing display, it's very clear and has fantastic resolution), and the fact that your alienware, is not a Mac. The trackpad on a Mac is 100x better than anything I've used, the overall workflow of a Mac is better than anything I've used on a PC, and once again, the build of it is fantastic, it slides in and out of my backpack easily and is very good looking if you ask me.
Also none of my Apple products that I have owned ever have even had the slightest issue. I still have a classic iPod I use when snowboarding and it takes a beating and still works fine.
again, if you drop an iphone or an ipod touch from any higher than 3.5 feet, it will crack the screen in most cases. Apple handheld devices are known for there fragility. you can drop a droid x from ten feet with out a case, and it still has a 50/50 chance of not shattering. Also my laptop is a very small 1.5" when closed. i am sure this is thicker than your tablet with a keyboard that apple sells as a laptop. macs are not as powerful or as useful as pcs, its a proven fact. what is astonishing is how apple can sell their underpowered, over-priced, fragile products and can sustain a business like that.

Here's a fact for you, my iPhone 4S fell out of my pocket at nationals (USASA snowboarding) on my second run on the third jump in the line which is a 55 foot step up, I picked it up after my run about 15 minutes later and it still worked fine. It doesn't matter if it's just .2 ghz faster or .025" thinner or has 512mb more RAM. I don't need it, I can run literally 4 of the most memory intensive applications at the same time without an issue on my Mac, why don't you understand that different people have different needs? If I needed a PC I'd get one, but a Mac is a better bundle for a designer.

They overprice products that may look slightly fancy but work about as well as a 1980's dell. They are slow, over-priced and over-rated.
Apple take other companies programs, hit them with a base ball bat and then give them a shot of botox.
You're joking, my Mac Book Pro is quick and has never had a single issue. It runs LR, AI, and PS at the same time without and issue, the build quality is fantastic, and they look good on top of everything. They are expensive for a reason.
just for curiosity what is the speed of your processor, your ram and how much did you pay for it?
I have the new Mac Book Pro for work and I paid about 3,200. It has the 2.7 i7
I payed $2,300 for my new Alienware laptop, it has a 3.2ghz processor and a nice sum of 16gb of dual band ram. than mine? I also have the most powerful graphics processor they could jam in this, 2 solid state 250gb hard drives for max speed when downloading and running programs.

An Alienware is a worse choice than a Macbook. Alienware laptops are the absolute worst laptops I can think of. They suck as gaming machines for the price and just aren't portable. You could have gotten an ultraportable laptop and a custom-built PC that give you the best of both worlds, not the worst of both.
please explain to me how this is the worst laptop... i have shattering speed and stunning graphics all packed inside a 14" screen, and its durable, my nephew dropped it twice with no scratch or dent(although he received a nice bruise) i cant think of what else there needs to be in a computer.

You hit your nephew for dropping your computer? My nephew could accidentally drop my iMac in a lake and I wouldn't hit him.
You're a douche.
And the pros far outweigh the cons, other wise I'd have a PC, you literally can and will not convince me a PC is better for my line of work.

1st: this whole thread is ridiculous, the fact that anyone offered help to the OP is even more ridiculous, as anyone who says they want "the best one" obviously isn't serious. And even if he was serious, it takes less than 5 seconds on a decent internet connection to find out which mac is the best one.
2nd: this minnesota guy is the man, i lol'd at so many of his replies

I know for a fact the best Apple computer you can buy is 16,000 dollars roughly, because I've built it online about 100 times and there is one in my office acting as a server.

Apple computers have flaws. Shall we point out the flaws with your Alienware?
-Miserable battery life
-Awful screen
-Extremely heavy
-Relatively thick
-Relatively poor build quality
-Loud fans
-Higher Thermal output
-Worse trackpad
-Overpriced components that try to be something they're not
-Worse support
I could go on. If you're going to buy a PC, don't buy garbage.
