This is my opinion. Just you know, throwing it out there.

I believe if you hunt or even are in the military of some sort should be the only time you have a gun. Other than that, no. There is no need for one otherwise.

I have guns and will keep them, don't give a **** who says different.

Criminal AKA CRIMINALS would do an illegal thing to get a firearm anyways so why does it matter, Illegalizing guns would make it harder for them to attain, but definitley not stop their intentions.

Actually that's not true. Maybe in some states but not in all. In the state of Alaska, once you get a background check once, you can purchase a weapon and take it home the same day. The paperwork only takes about 5 minutes. And then you're off. However in Alaska most people are armed so anyone trying to do something stupid such as harming others would most likely be killed. But besides that I agree with you.

I'd assume the statistics are per capita.

That is the not the reason they are trying to do this.
They are trying to do this because it would be the best way for them to assume martial law.
Edit: Do you guys honestly believe that the citizens don't deserve our 2nd amendment right? You don't feel we have the right to defend ourselves and family?

So in the 30's beer was illegal. People still drank beer but, there was mafia's controlling it. So if you make guns illegal you will create a huge black market for criminals to get automatic. history repeats itself.
