Funniest gaming Story

I was playing MW3 one time with me and my mates. We pretend to be rally nooby with heartbeat sensors and riot shields and talking crap about cod. So as were playing team tactical there is one lairy other team member giving all that. We start out to have a 10-15 argue in a private game, and finally at the end, you hear his mum shout " Time for bed sweetcheaks " We all burst out laughing and he just turns his xbox off.

Now people thinking this is not funny at all, just imagine someone attempting to verball abuse for over 10 mins and then there mum saying that whilst with your mates

Extra Funny Moment

My little brother came into my room saying he had been hacked. Hee said that he was playing MW3 and someone told him they could turn him into a dragon and he could fly all around maps, my little brother being stupid gave him his email and pass

Alone wrote My most funny gaming memory is:

I was raging alot, over campers and my room was fairly messy...So I jumped into the corner of my room and started throwing my cover and clothes over me and saying "Oh yeah I'm so good I can camp in a corner!"
Pretty embarrassing as my friend was there and started laughing.
this put a smile on my face

To others, my story may not seem "great" or exciting, but to me it is seeing as it's personal and what kind of got me back into gaming as a whole. If this moment hadn't transpired, I probably wouldn't have been part of this site, anyway here goes.

My most memorable experience, the moment which sprang to mind when I read this thread, was the first time I played online gaming and in particular the games Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter & Call of Duty 4. I was a big gamer when I was younger, my first console was a Sega: Master System. I moved on to the Playstation franchise after Sega went downhill and never looked back. Anyway once the PS2 had started to run it's course and the Xbox 360 and PS3 were the next big things, I lost a lot of interest in gaming. Having spent a lot of money over the years building a repertoire of games and gadgets for the PS1 and PS2 I wasn't prepared to do it all again for another generation of console, so I stuck to playing my PS2 whenever I felt the need to game.

After a while I caved in and bought an Xbox 360, a lot of my friends had one and while at first I was reluctant to my ties with the PS, the Xbox was a lot cheaper than it's rival the PS3. At first I just merely played offline singleplayer or local multiplayer with friends giving no notion to online multiplayer as it didn't really interest me. Again, my friends were "bigging" up online multiplayer and telling me to get it. In the end I was persuaded to buy a wireless adapter and 12 months of XBL membership along with CoD 4.

The first game I ever played online was Ghost Recon: AW. I had played this game locally with friends and enjoyed it a lot. Having not being a big FPS fan at the time, playing multiplayer as a whole in that franchise was a new thing for me, and something that gave me enjoyment in regards to gaming which I hadn't ever experienced. Anyway, I played a couple of games on Ghost Recon and just couldn't hang with other players. I struggled to comprehend why I was so bad when I was the best out of my friends. A few games went by with no change and I simply switched off my Xbox, thinking the whole purchase of Online Membership had been a complete and utter waste of money. At the time I was a student, so money wasn't exactly growing on trees.

That point of view however was very wrong. Although I had bought CoD 4 earlier, i hadn't even bothered to play it due to my frustration. My friend persuaded me to play with him telling me "it's the most fun he's had playing a game". I didn't share his enthusiasm but I nevertheless decided to give it a go. Again like Ghost Recon, I sucked badly and would be lucky to get 1 or two kills a game, but this time something was different. Although I was having a torrid time in regards to performance, I was having fun. Although I may have been getting 1 or two kills a game, I strived to try and better that each game. After an hour or two there was a rapid increase in my performance and I was getting 6-8 kills a game. As each match and each hour went by I couldn't put my controller down, i was hooked for the first time in years.

After that day I never looked back, I would play everyday in an attempt to be a good player and experience more fun. Playing by myself opened new avenues to speak to other players in the lobby and making "friends" with them. All in all, it's an experience I wouldn't have changed. It just goes to show that the slightest things can change what happens in the future. The example being that online multiplayer and CoD 4 in particular led me to this site, without playing it I may never have had the experiences i've had over the past 2 and a half years, and for that i'm thankful.

Again, not much of an exciting story more of one of importance and relevance to me however.

Its funny because my bro was playing mw2 for Ps3, so he could not hit a shot without getting a hitmarker, he even use a ump, everytime he went around a corner there was somebody laying in a corner, so he went on a 13 death streak, he ended up slamming his controller onto the ground then he threw his face in the pillow and scream his heart out, he got so mad, he started tearing and his head was throbing

That moment when you scream and cuss as loud as you can on CoD, to walk out your room to figure out that your parent's boss and friends were here.

The first time I ever got Xbox Live, I decided to play some Cod Waw Multuiplayer, it was the time when it was first time. I joined a game and me and this dude where defending each other because we are both kind ;) so I decided to send him a friend request but as I was about to click send he sent me one!!! So we played for 2 yrs straight and became best of friends and he only lives 6 hours away from me by car!!! AND ONE DAY he switched to PS3 and I was so so so sad and I used to phone every day until I found out he replaced me and he never spoke to me again....

Hope I win the contest:

Me and my friend were on call of duty late at night when this guy decided to want a invite to our party chat.. my friend is a squeaker and the guy who joined our party didnt sound much like a nice guy.. in other terms he was talking like a perv to us, while my friend was talking to me we could hear this sound in the background... a sound of what masturbating would sound like, my friend said to him.. what are you doing?, the guy replied saying "oh yeah, keep talking", so for a laugh I told my friend to keep talking, I then kicked the guy from the party as I got extremely disturbed.
