The CX series really sucks and I hate recommending them. They're not rated honestly and do not output their rated wattages.

Not an expert on the PSU's but compared to my last the cx600 is more than adequate to handle everything. Would recommend as its pretty cheap also.

They're not bad units, but there are qualms to be had. I always look for a better unit, because they're certainly out there.
I was on a budget at time of build, no problems yet but not to say i won't upgrade in the near future.

There's actually a combo with the 800D and the HX850 that saves me $30.

Yeah, but the 800D is still way overpriced for what you get. It's your decision, though.

Yeah, but the 800D is still way overpriced for what you get. It's your decision, though.


He should just get a CM 430.
