Sorry if I've been unable to help anyone. I've been excessively busy with school where I am until around 5:30 EST every weekday. I get home tired and have loads of homework to do. It would be really nice if you guys would help me out a little.

1. It would help a LOT if you guys would actually give us 24 hours before you get your panties in a bunch.

2. Don't PM me, post on my wall, chat me, etc. about what you posted here.

3. Cut the BS and get to the point.

4. Read the topics and post in the correct one.

5. Use Google. If you're wondering how your build will play certain games, Google it. This is a good skill to have if you're building a PC. Or, you know, a modern human.

I made a guide! Right now it's a work in progress, but I've already covered the vast majority of requests we get. Beyond this point, nothing is practical for gaming at 1080p. Using this guide, you should get exactly what I would recommend you for a balanced gaming build at $50 increments. Of course, not everyone wants something balanced or in a regular form factor. Or even for gaming, for that matter.

I made my post and you suggested a laptop instead on your custom PC forum, and I replied in a quote, but I'm yet to receive suggestions on a laptop/computer? It's the exact same form as the PC for a PC or a laptop, but you've not suggested anything for either? I think my requests on page 180 or so. Please reply on there or via PM? Thanks Root Beer.

Yep, I always feel like I'm forgetting something.

Now, for college. It's not up to me whether you want a laptop or a desktop, but here's what I'd recommend for a laptop, a Thinkpad T430:

With these aftermarket upgrades:

You can use both the SSD and HDD at the same time with a bay adapter if you're willing to remove the optical drive (which takes zero effort, it's a Thinkpad). I included the 12+ hour battery (9-cell, which does protrude from the back, but it's so worth it), the high-res panel (1600 x 900), discrete graphics card (which should play lighter games like TF2 and MC very well), the backlit keyboard, the fingerprint scanner, and the webcam options.

Or I could do a build for you. Depends on what you want!

My friends graphics card was faulty so is the

ASUS Nvidia Geforce GTX 560

good and is it better than the

ASUS AMD Radeon 6850

The Nvidia costs 150 so if there's a better one for that price would yo be able to tell me :3

Thanks Gonna send you a bunch of rep for helping me before <3

Thanks ever so much and if it's not too much bother do you think you could do a build for me as well? If that's not a problem? I do trust your advice massively, it's just weighing up the ups and downs of both, I'll also ask a few friends what they think too if you could do a build for me too? Extra +rep in it for you if you can?

Get the Phantom 410 if you like the design, a full tower is completely unnecessary.

Extreme4 is good and you do want Intel.

Graphics card is good.

Get the Rosewill HIVE-650. It's a better unit with modular cables and a much more appropriate wattage.

Intel 3570K for the CPU. Make sure it's the K version, you want it unlocked!

Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB hard drive, it's $70 and the only hard drive I can possibly recommend right now. Check the guide, I'm serious!

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] There's an entry on them in the sticky, they're more than meets the eye!

The Cooler Master Quickfire with Brown switches is a better choice than the K60.

And finally the Logitech G400 is the best mouse your money can buy.
