E74, you need to reflow the HANA chip and GPU. There are lots of excellent tutorials on Xbox-Experts.

My xenon has RROD. I jtagged it, and when I turned it on to get my CPU key, it had RROD. I tried the x clamp fix, to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks

Undo the Xclamp "fix"... Now get the secondary error code so that I may be able to assist you properly... "RRoD" covers 100+ different errors. You can't fix it without knowing what's wrong...

If you don't know how to get the secondary code, Google "Xbox 36o secondary codes"

Screws and washers are bad for your board... And it has 0020 so...

JTAGing can cause 0020...

Screws and washers being too tight can cause it either by shorting a resistor or bridging the solder...


You can attempt to remove all the JTAG crap and reflow the GPU...

My Xbox keeps freezing. I got it in Christmas 2008. Is that something to do with it? It freezes and sometimes gets on this very very weird screen with random color patterns and its weird. My friend said it was a Graphics Card Error. And it gets 3 RROD randomly and I turn off and wait like hours and it works.
