A build like this will last a good 4-5 years without needing any upgrades.

Intel Core i7-3770k Ivy Bridge quad core
Good.
ASUS Rampage IV Extreme motherboard
Overkill motherboard, You know that motherboard does not affect performance at all, RIGHT?
Motherboards with all the features that you could possibly need %50 less.
Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Kingston 32gb ram DDR3
Extreme overkill, you will only use 4gb - 6gb while gaming with 25+ applications
16GB ram (still overkill): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233197&name=Desktop-Memory
OCZ Solid 3 60gb SATA III
Crappy SSD, with the money you saved with the RAM + Mobo then you can get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148442&name=Internal-SSD With spare money left.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 2gb
Good.
Acer 23" lcd monitor
You can do much better for your budget, go for a decent IPS panel monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236288&name=LCD-Monitors
Seagate 1TB 7200 RPM SATA
Good.
Corsair Professional AX1200 PSU
EXTREME Overkill (very) for a single GPU. Go for an AX 750 which is much more than enoguh.
PSU: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX tower (blue leds)
Terrible case, no features, no cable management, still decent airflow.
Better cases options: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

he is right with all his recommendations what you had was overkill and a wast of money that can be put into different things that will help the build overall. on a side note don't waist money on a 690 when you can get just about the same performance from 2 680's and spend less.(that would also mean getting a different mobo and psu) [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] there are others out there but this should give you a general idea.
