okay well heres my answer my girlfriend of 5 years is a recovering self harmer it was one of the hardest choices in my life having to report her to the police and youuthline here in new zealand and that was the best option bringing something like this to ttg is stupid.

get professinal help stop wasting ur time by posting on forums that wil only give you one answer..

seriously.. if it was actually that much of a problem you would have done something big about it.

i will tell you this right now.

my ex is just like that. and no matter how beautiful they are or anything like that in there mind there ugly and not worth anything. the very best thing you can do is show them how much you care about them and complement them on what they think is wrong with them. i still talk to her to this day and help her when shes down.all females will have a time in there life where they think there ugly fat worthless or something like that and they all take it different ways just be there for her when she needs you.

if yous still in school i would suggest taking her to a guidance counselor i know you said that ur not going to tell an adult but its really the best thing to do.

Keep the girl away from all drugs. ALL
If you feel like she is going to kill herself call the police ASAP
Call a teen hotline and ask them for help and see what they say
Confront her and tell her nice things Ex. You look pretty today. I like your hair. Nice jacket. Stuff like that. It'll put a smile on her face.
Be an overall nice guy to her, sit with her at lunch and talk about school and classes. Be a nice guy. Good luck. All the best
