Hey guys, I have a question regarding RAM. My friend managed to figure out what kind of RAM my computer can take, but I'm having some trouble picking out RAM because I don't have any knowledge of swapping out RAM, also I should note that I don't really want to go over $75, and I want the best possible quality (I'm looking for 8-16 GB of RAM). Here's link [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . Guys, I also saw in the owner's manual of my PC that there is a chance of me losing all my data on my computer and I don't want this. Thanks for your help in advance, and remember, my budget's only $75.

Fry wrote Just make sure you have at least 2 DIMM's and your motherboard can handle how much RAM you're buying, and the speed.

I couldn't find your motherboard. Run CPU-Z and screenshot the mainboard section.

nightcall4 wroteIt's a program. It's not installed automatically on your PC. Also, no need to worry about losing your data. Make sure you're grounded and that the battery is out when installing it.Fry wrote I couldn't find your motherboard. nightcall4 wroteIt can support up to 15 gigs. Since it only has two DIMM slots you'll need to buy two 8 gig RAM sticks. They MUST be 1333 latency as well.Fry wrote I couldn't find your motherboard.
