Hey TTG,
As i have been EXTREMELY inactive for the past couple of months i thought i would post a topic clarifying a few things.
If you have at any point in time participated in the prestige glitch a ban will be issued on your account regardless of what you do. There are topics ive seen that are quite rediculous "If you change your gamertag you will not be banned!
Now lets clarify a few things:
No matter how many times you change your gamertag you can still be banned as bans are not issued on a gamertag basis they are issued on a PERMANENT Xbox LIVE profile ID which shows past and most recent gamertag changes.
The bans that are resulting from this glitch are inescapeable due to the fact that the video you watched modifys your ingame rank without providing score basis- Basically saying if you have done this glitch and you only have 250,000 score on a 10th prestige account which should have x100 that ammount of score things logically do not add up. This is usually the way treyarch is able to pull the modded and non modded accounts into seperate groups. "This 10th prestige level 55 has only 8000 kills and 1 day playtime.... no not suspicious what so ever" The leaderboards are in the game for a reason, not only are they there for you to laugh at your friends KD's or compare kills etc. There also there to easily prune the hackers and modders.
Just thought i ought to clear that up with everyone, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to IBM or drop a comment and ill answer ASAP
P.S if you arent banned you got lucky this time... but dont count on them missing you!
***Depending on your abuse of this glitch you may get off with so much as a black mark on your account reset to level 1 prestige 0 banned temporarily and banned from the leaderboards

Although I agree on most of the things you say, what do you think that will happen to players who have done it up to 10th but NOT including 10th, so technically playing legit from 10th level 1?

Unfortunately a ban will still be issued as you have disobeyed the games terms of service
At the very least if you are lucky you will be reset to level 1 no prestige and banned from the leaderboards

i was 3rd prestige but i play alot of search so i have low kills and i got up to 5th? and i just played aloud of domination and got as much kills as i could xD im on 9000 kills... and 2 days played:)
