i would recommend switching out the FX 6300 and getting a intel i3 instead as well as switching the monitor to a IPS monitor also im not 100% sure about XFX PSU's, windows 7 is easily torrent able + if u have a pre-bulit pc from the past chances are the product key from that will work.

I should mention that I'm getting the 6 core because I'll be doing a lot of 3D rendering and video rendering. I am someone who torrents a lot but the one thing I wont torrent is operating systems, it's just a lot easier down the road if you don't. Windows updates etc.

i mean just torrent the OS and use a legit key from a previous Computer (check you current for a windows 7 sticker)

Edit: Is it also worth the extra 20 to get the 2GB HD 7850 instead of 1GB?

An i3 will be quite a bit cheaper and will perform better in almost every task, but if you really think you can use all six threads of the FX 6300, it's not a bad buy. Sure, the power to performance ratio is just disgusting compared to the i3, but it doesn't matter that much. The PSU is of extremely high quality and has a 4+4-pin EPS connector, so you should be good to overclock the crap out of that CPU although it's a lower-wattage unit. Seasonic-built, 34 amps on the 12v, awesome.

1GB will hold the card back in some demanding games like BF3 and 20 more for 2GB sounds reasonable to me. The 7870 is also priced pretty well on Scan at like 180, which is a huge bump up from the 7850.

What will you use this information for? I mean really, what do you plan on doing with knowing that? I'm sure you're more than capable of looking up graphics cards online within a certain price range, and looking up benchmarks. One does not simply explain "how well they [graphics cards] work."

You'll be looking at the AMD 6670, 7750, and 7770. How they perform in whatever game can be found with a Google search. If I wanted to know how well the 7770 can run BF3 at 1080p, I'd search "7770 bf3."
