When I built my computer (3 months ago), I was not familiar with motherboards and picked up an ASUS P8H61 for my build. Now that Christmas is coming around, I want to swap to H77 so I can take advantage of 6 gbps SATA connection and be able to overclock my 2500K. Would anything have compatibility issues once I swap boards? If not, can you recommend me a new board for around 90 USD?
No compatibility issues, but I would definitely drop that 2500k in a Z77 motherboard.

Can you verify that this is a good board? I'm seeing nothing but bad feedback on Newegg.

This Z75 board will do what you want as well, but as a general rule, don't trust Newegg reviews. People usually only leave reviews if they have a significant (bad) experience or if they get a DOA part. People that leave 1 egg DOA reviews are idiots. I'd only use the reviews to check for recurring specific issues or reviews from well-known people, which are both rare.

Depends. The Intel 330 60GB is $60, which is $15 less than the M4 64GB, so I'd get that instead. For 128GB, the M4 for sure.

Pentium G860
500GB HDD
8GB RAM
DVD Burner
Fractal Core 1000
Corsair CX430
AMD 7770
B75 Mobo

Upgraded a bunch of things. How's that look? You could stick with the Core 1000, too.

Seems great, seeing as it's a tiny bit more expensive than the last build yet you say you have improved a lot of things, assuming this will be able to run most high-end games etc better than the last build?

Only thing I'm having a problem with is getting an operating system...

The 7850 is a huge improvement over the 7770: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The CPU is also much faster, the case is nicer and larger, and the HDD has twice the capacity.

You can get a completely legal Windows 7 SP1 download from Digital River here, you just need an activator or code. Burn it to a DVD with ImgBurn or use a flash drive with WinToFlash.

But I can't help you activate it on TTG.

I don't why that couldn't play COD fine but Skyrim is a totally different more demanding game. Games are GPU dependent so that's where you're going to want to start. Your PSU is more than enough for any decent video card.

I've recently completed my build and my LG monitor says it is stuck in dsub power saver mode. I can't access the main screen to install windows or anything, please answer back.

Sounds like it's not receiving a signal from the computer. Make sure that everything is plugged in properly and that all the fans are spinning, particularly the ones on the graphics card and CPU. The monitor cable should be plugged into the graphics card.
